The client purchased this ranch house and saw that the 8’ ceilings and cramped layout would not meet the needs of their growing family. The following remodel involved elevating the central living space and adding floor to ceiling windows that connects the living spaces to the outdoors. Large openings join the interior spaces to the exterior allowing for expanded gatherings and a minimal amount of addition to floor area.
